Installing intelliScore

Install

To install intelliScore on your computer, perform the following steps:

1. Place the CD in your CD-ROM drive.

2. The installer should start running automatically. If not, click on "Start | Run..." and type x:\ise.exe (or x:\isp.exe if you have the Polyphonic Edition of intelliScore) in the text box and click on "OK" (where x: is the letter of the CD drive you are installing from).

3. Follow the instructions on the screen.

4. You will be asked to specify an installation folder. You may select any folder you choose, but the tutorials assume you chose C:\Program Files\intelliScore Ensemble\ (or C:\Program Files\intelliScore Polyphonic\ if you have the Polyphonic Edition of intelliScore).

5. Click the Start button to finish installing.

If you receive an error the first time you run intelliScore, there was probably another program running when you installed intelliScore that interfered with the installation. Make sure no other programs are running and install intelliScore again.

The first time you run intelliScore after installation, you may see a message stating that Media Player settings have been changed by another program. You may ignore this message, and click either Yes or No to remove the warning.
