3. If you are upgrading from another version of intelliScore, uninstall the previous version before proceeding.
4. Place the CD in your CD-ROM drive or disk 1 in the floppy drive.
5. Click on "Start | Run...".
6. Type x:\setup.exe in the text box and click on "OK" (where x: is the letter of the drive you are installing from).
7. Follow the instructions on the screen.
8. You will be asked to specify an installation folder. You may select any folder you choose, but this User Guide assumes you chose C:\Program Files\intelliScore Ensemble\ (or C:\Program Files\intelliScore Polyphonic\ if you have the Polyphonic Edition of intelliScore).
9. You will be asked to specify a folder for the program shortcuts. You may select any folder you choose, but this User Guide assumes you chose intelliScore Ensemble (or intelliScore Polyphonic if you have the Polyphonic Edition of intelliScore).
10. The setup program will begin copying files to your computer. If newer versions are already on your computer, they will not be overwritten.
11. If you selected the option to install Anvil Studio (included with full versions of intelliScore), it will be automatically installed the next time you start intelliScore.
If you receive an error the first time you run intelliScore, there was probably another program running when you installed intelliScore that interfered with the installation. Make sure no other programs are running, and installed intelliScore again.
The first time you run intelliScore after installation, you may see a message stating that Media Player settings have been changed by another program. You may ignore this message, and click either Yes or No to remove the warning.
