You can change the volume of the notes so that they are louder or softer in the created MIDI file than in the original audio file. Boosting the volume will make them louder, while cutting the volume will make them softer. In the center position there is no change. You can click on the "Z" button to easily return the slider to the center position. You may need to boost the volume in order to make the note volumes in the MIDI file match the audio file.
