How do I remove vocals from music for use in karaoke singing?

At the last step of the New Project Wizard, before you click the Finish button, click the Open Project Editor button. On the Audio tab in the Stereo frame of the Edit Project window, click the Remove radio button. Click the OK button to return to the wizard and continue.

This will help remove the vocal part of your music from the generated MIDI file. Note that this only works when the music is recorded in stereo and the vocal part is positioned in the center of the stereo image.
